Organic Ylang Ylang Essential Oil (50ml)

Organic Ylang Ylang Essential Oil (50ml)

A rich, intensely floral oil with a deep, exotic character

Ylang Ylang translates as "flower of flowers" in Malay - a fitting name for one of the most celebrated floral oils in perfumery. Native to Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia, this large tropical tree produces striking yellow flowers with long trailing petals that have been prized for centuries across Asian cultures.

Traditionally used in Indonesian wedding ceremonies, the flowers were strewn on the marriage bed as a symbol of love and celebration. In China, the fragrance was used to scent the robes of mandarins, and it remains one of the most valued ingredients in fine perfumery and cosmetics worldwide.
